Tomorrow’s the bump-in for Intercultural Theatre Institute‘s production of When We Dead Awaken, so here am I, doing my final checks for my lighting paperwork!
This production is what I would call it a “essense of chicken” version of Henrik Ibsen’s final play; imagine 125 pages of script compressed to mere 2 pages of dialogues. It is basically a play that is stripped down to just its essence, making it a very intense abstraction of the original. Just can’t wait to start wotking on it in theatre!
When We Dead Awaken runs from 15th to 17th March, at Drama Centre Black Box, and tickets are available at Peatix.
