I am your Father is an intimate and poetic Chinese play that talks about the relationship the female lead has with her father. Lighting mood was designed to have a cosy feel in general, with switches between naturalistic lighting and dramatic colour changes when the play goes from “naturalistic” mode to “flashback” or “dreamy” modes.
