An annual inaugural Chinese opera gala concert held over two evenings, the set needs to be consistent and cohesive throughout. The permanent backdrop uses a generic Chinese opera headgear as the key visual, which is minimalist and elegant, yet not distracting the audience away with too much fancy details.
